The company has undergone a rejuvenation with the reconstitution of an enlarged Board of Directors and the joining of a new strategic partner and is now poised to enter infrastructure development, a field brimming with growth potential. Freshly renamed POLINDIA PROJECTS LIMITED the company is set to make a vital and significant contribution to the economic and social development of the nation.
The experience, expertise and goodwill of the new board of directors is already providing a solid foundation for the organization's entry into this attractive sector. POLINDIA has bid for a port project in one of the Gujarat ports by forming a consortium with well known players with a proven track record in infrastructure development and port construction / management. This project is in a fairly advanced stage of approval by the authorities.
The company has already been awarded 'in-principle' approval for developing Ship Building / Repairing Yard and Marine Technology Park / Complex at Sachana in Gujarat (West Coast of India). Presently the company is giving final touches to the project and also working on converting the whole projects into a Shipyard cum Maritime Technology Park.
The company has also formed suitable consortiums with well known players in the field for undertaking construction work in other infrastructure projects, viz. roads, bridges, power plants, townships, etc. both in India as well as abroad. |
